Remedies to Keep You in Good Spirit"
The winter
season is here; long hours, holiday parties,
uncomfortable boots, not to mention cold & flu
season. Here are some ways to relieve your pain,
combat the flu & soothe tired aching feet. I
also suggest stocking up on Echinacea, green tea
& a good box of tissues.
Aromatic
Soak to ease muscle soreness
& lower back pain:
1 ½ cups of
Epsom Salt
3 drops Lavender essential oil
2 drops Rosemary essential oil
2 drops Clary Sage essential oil
Add oils
& salt to a full warm to hot bath. Soak for 25
to 30 minutes. While in the tub put in your favorite
easy listening CD & sip Chamomile tea from your
favorite tea cup. After your soak, pat dry, slip
into a thick bathrobe and relax.
Tired,
aching feet getting you down?
Try this soak:
First, find a
basin that can accommodate your feet," I am
sure you have a foot massager somewhere in the
attic." Second, fill it with the coldest water
you can stand. Then add:
4 drops
Peppermint essential oil
2 drops Tea Tree essential oil
1 drop Lavender essential oil
Soak for 15
to 20 minutes; finally test your mates love and ask
for a foot massage!
Regrettably
during the winter season, cold & flu symptoms
may occur. Here’s a remedy to help shorten their
stay:
Fill the tub
with warm to hot water.
Add 4 drops of Lavender essential oil
2 drops Juniper essential oil

Make a cup of
green tea and soak for 25 to 30 minutes. Dry off,
put on some warm pajamas, turn the phone off and get
some rest.
